The TG72K12 features a powerful, 14-horsepower, 420-cc, four-stroke, gas-powered OHV engine that is capable of producing 7,250 continuous watts and 8,250 maximum watts. Its easy-pull recoil and electric-start make for reliable startups every time.
The engine isn’t just powerful, it’s also quiet. Thanks to its oversized muffler, the TG72K12 portable generator produces sound at just 70 decibels during operation.
And with a 6.42-gallon fuel tank and efficient power delivery, the engine is capable of running a 50-percent load for up to 10-1/2 hours or a 100-percent load for 6 hours and 36 minutes.
The engine also features auto throttle control technology, which automatically speeds up the engine when power is needed. This helps increase the longevity of the engine and also increases fuel efficiency.
